My 2 cents...

Interesting thread, I guess I should add my 2 cents here too--
I'm a sales agent...so here's some personal and shared experiences. I'm not sure who is actually a licensed agent in these postings.
Studies show commission sales jobs are one of the highest grossing jobs out there, due to the unlimited earning potential. I do mainly sales, and we typically charge 4-7% on a sales listing. For the poster who sold his house in 1992 for $120,000 -- as you said, that was in 1992, 12 years ago. The economy has grown in the past 12 years, obviously. Which is why we pay $2 for the subway instead of 75 cents, meanwhile the subways are still the subways from the 1980's

Jump on anyone who will meet them??

This has *not* been my experience. While I have had some nice experiences with online dating (one "dating situation" and one that ended up being a good friend....and yes something ongoing that was sexual in nature), I tend to be pretty dammned selective *before* I ever meet someone (though no longer in the sense of endless IMs and emails....lesson learned. TWICE). And yes, even after I meet someone, I'm still pretty selective.
I agree that I do have difficulty meeting people in person sometimes as I tend to be shy. I also tend to be a bit on defense in typical "bar settings", and I know that makes it diffucult for guys to approach

I probably should and I probably will

I know very little about it. Thankfully this is has never been a problem for me before.
The fact still stands that a feral cat colony is a huge nuisance in my area. I would probably consider this a 'high risk of painful death' area. My street dead ends into a sound barrier wall and on the other side of that wall is one of he busiest highways in my area. Not to mention the traffic on the city roads. I'd still prefer to see a cat humanely euthanized than hit by a car - the latter happens far too often as it is so the 'vacuum' is going to be created in both instances

  • Avatar k332 Where can I read Dr. Seuss books online?

I need a copy of The Cat in the Hat but I can't find it anywhere online. Help! Thanks.

    • You can buy it easily through this safe link (use high broadband if you have it) and follow the easy route to "Books" and click on that... You'll see a list of titles then and click on The Cat in the Hat to buy …anch of the public library and ask for the children's reference librarian. Ask him or her if they have this ready for download against your library card. Many libraries do this now. Mine doesn't, so I'm not sure of cost.
